Research: Age discrimination in Belgium (2025)
Unia investigated how often age discrimination occurs in Belgium during the third phase of the Equality Data project (‘Improving Equality Data Collection in Belgium III’).
INESAC project - Tackling inequalities in local administrative sanctions (SAC)
The INESAC project focused on the effect of municipal administrative sanctions on inequality. The research report was published in October 2025.

Discrimination and intersectionality
Some people are discriminated against more than others because they belong to multiple identity groups. This is known as multiple discrimination. Intersectional discrimination is one of them.
Second evaluation of Belgium by the UN Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities: report and recommendations (2024)
In 2023, the UN Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities will reassess Belgium's compliance with the rights of persons with disabilities. As part of this assessment, Unia submitted its second shadow report to the Committee on 3 December 2021, the International Day of Disabled Persons.
