Promote diversity & inclusion
To promote diversity and inclusion, we strongly focus on prevention and awareness. We do this for and together with professionals in the workplace, welfare experts, public authorities and researchers.
Diversity and inclusion in the workplace
A non-discriminatory and diverse working environment can offer many benefits in terms of an inclusive corporate culture. That's why we support companies, organisations and public authorities in setting up an inclusive working environment in the following ways:
- Tailor-made training
- eDiv: free e-learning modules and tools on discrimination
- Advice on workplace situations (French / Dutch)
Policy recommendations for public authorities
Are you an attaché or adviser in a political office or administration? Based on the reports filed with Unia, research and warning signs from civil society, we establish policy recommendations. In this way, we aim to promote diversity and inclusion.
Especially for researchers and experts
To measure is to know, which is why Unia invests in scientifically-based knowledge of discrimination and equality.
Unia with civil society
Only together can we make a difference to inclusion and diversity. That's why we support civil society organisations that help people on the ground.
Police and justice
The police and the judiciary play a fundamental role in the fight against discrimination. Unia supports them in this area:
- Case law on discrimination (only in French or Dutch)
- Anti-discrimination legislation (only in French or Dutch)
- COL13 newsletter for magistrates and reference officers (French / Dutch)
- Recommendations for the police and the judiciary (French / Dutch)
Customised training
Are you looking for customised training in the context of your policy on diversity and inclusion? Unia is happy to look at the possibilities with you. Training is a powerful tool for working towards a diverse, discrimination-free and inclusive working environment.
