Standard response to chain mail

Dear,

I have received your email and I believe it deserves my attention. The unpleasant/stereotypical/hateful nature of your message has prompted me to contact Unia.

Although I am not in a position to determine whether or not your email violates anti-racism and anti-discrimination laws, I do wish to inform you that I strongly disapprove of these kinds of messages.

Under the above laws, it is illegal to incite hatred, discrimination or violence against people on account of race, skin colour, nationality, sexual orientation or religion. Denying, minimising, justifying or approving of the Holocaust is also considered a criminal offense.

More information is available at www.unia.be, more specifically in the section titled 'Media analyses', which includes a compilation of analyses of popular chain mail.
